Had a a very warm welcome from the Kingston Deanery yesterday when we received a special invite to the Choral Evensong at the historic All Saints Church Kingston the service was dedicated to those who work in Funeral Service and care for the bereaved daily. Hosted by Revd Joe Moffatt following the moving Evensong sung by the amazing Cathedral style choir, we were able to hear more from Joe and Sarah Williams about the work the Church does with the Bereavement Cafe, which they run every other Weds 2-3pm. A partnership with The Princess Alice Hospice the Cafe offers a space to talk about bereavement from others who understand loss. We enjoyed some light refreshments and caught up with other funeral service friends from Lodge Brothers , Fred W Paine and the Co-op Funeralcare. London Association of Funeral Directors (LAFD)
